The Job SCAMS need to STOP! A brief overview of the PerDM, Cobra, Appco SCAM UK.

The real enemies are the not the guys who work beside us and walk past us in the street. The REAL ENEMIES are the ones we don't see. The ones who hide behind their flashy suits and company names. Whilst they control and affect the majority of the population and that are continually getting away with SCAMMING people. Lets get the information out there, open peoples eyes and get people to start WAKING UP!!

                                     

This type of JOB SCAM is going on all over the country and should be stopped.... If YOU don't like the idea of DODGY business people RUNNING OUR WORLD with their companies and corporations, CORRUPTING OUR society and SCAMMING AVERAGE PEOPLE, then please FOLLOW and SUPPORT this campaign. We have multiple different pages, all aimed at getting these con artists and their clever scam into the public view, so that less people are getting manipulated by these crooks.

                                      

Let me start from the beginning..... I was looking for a job/career. I had been applying to all sorts of things, unfortunately without many responses. Then I get a call, one evening, from a company called Powerhouse Worldwide. The lady on the phone told me that I had applied for a job with them online, the Managing Director had looked over my CV and would like to invite me in for an interview the following day! The job advert had said weekly earnings of £250 per week and the role sounded very exciting! Here is what part of their interview confirmation email said:

"Our company is a Sales and marketing company that specializes in Face to Face marketing only.

We work with B2B. B2C and Event campaigns.

We are taking candidates on at an entry level, at which time we start by training and practicing the basic sales and marketing skills.
>From here we progress and coach in the development of others, basic admin skills, financial and legal side of the business. 
Later on in the program we develop up to team leadership and management level, at which time you will be running your own team and campaigns. We only promote from within the company so this is what candidates are working to from their first day.

We do a lot of promotional work for our clients so the entry level stage will potentially involve candidates doing presentations and demos on behalf of our clients, liaising with various businesses around Brighton and surrounding areas, running event based and advertising campaigns. The aim is to create brand awareness and maximum exposure.

This role is very intense and hard working but very fast tracked.
We develop candidates in to management within an average of 6-12 months. I understand this seems very fast, however all can be explained in depth during your preliminary interview.

This is a career progression role and so if you are looking for more of a career move rather than a 9-5 this is very much for you."

Well lets just say the next day I was very excited! I went for the interview (lots of other interviewees there) and the MD said that if I was accepted I would be called later on in the evening, to be invited in the next day for an observation day. Surprise, surprise, I get a call later on that evening telling me how I had done great and congratulations. I was quite shocked the next day when I was taken out for 10 hours to do COLD CALLING and DOOR TO DOOR SALES! 

I don't quite know what happened, but somewhere between my deep feelings of ambition, perseverance and desperation, these people were able to convince me that doing door to door sales, for commission only was the best thing for my family! The lies, tricks and deceit that they use is very clever and specifically targets people with high ambitions, who are vulnerable simply because of the position that they were in when they first got pulled into this SCAM. Now the SCAM actually works by exploiting the workers at the lower levels. Now I say lower levels but this includes almost 80% of the managers as well! The workers are exploited by working stupid hours, in all sorts of weather, for poor commission, whilst being fed a huge web of lies to keep them from seeing the truth. 

Most people stuck in this scam are earning way below the minimal wage, but they believe that once they get to 'Leader' or 'Manager' that they will be earning lots of money and that they will be in control of their lives.......This is how they keep you there. Everyone involved (above your level) is taught and told to lie to you to keep you chasing the carrot, so to speak. They convince you that you will earn this, or that, but in reality when you reach that position the bar just moves further away again! They cover it all up with loads of excuses and try to blind you with lots of lies and deceit. Also once you get to become a 'manager' things get ugly very quickly. This is where the real bad stuff starts!

Anyway, lets fast forward 3 years (I work hard, don't quit and never give up!. I had been completely brainwashed by a whole world of lies and deceit! I had lost my fiancee of 5 years and mother of our 3 children (all back together now). I had lost my home. I had lost my friends. I barely had any contact with my family and my whole world was falling apart. I had been working for 3 years at over 80+ hours per week. I had been more or less skint for the whole time and actually gone into debt as well. I was pressurized into lying to the people who were not as high up the ladder as me. I was constantly bullied, manipulated, verbally abused and forced into very uncomfortable situations. I had been manipulated into lying and using sly tactics myself (I feel sick when I think of this, my comfort comes from helping people now and being with my family). I had plowed my heart and soul into something that I thought would provide a better world for my loved ones and instead I had almost destroyed everything that I hold valuable to me! I had thrown away 3 years of my life with my fiancee and our 3 kids.

         

I just want to make sure that this sort of thing doesn't keep happening with no one doing anything about it.

I was able to finally get out of this horrible type of organisation, but the affects of what me and my family went through are still here now. We are only just starting to crawl out of the hole that we got plunged into. The more people that we can help, the better. This SCAM puts massive strain onto the families and loved ones of the worker. Unfortunately 'the worker' will be so manipulated by the time you notice anything, that it can be very hard for them to see the truth, through the huge, complex web of lies, that they will be trapped in! JUST IN CASE ANYONE INVOLVED IN THESE ORGANISATIONS FALSELY BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN GET TO THE TOP OF THE STRUCTURE, UNDERSTAND THAT THE GROWTH COMES FROM UNDERNEATH YOU. YOU DON'T ACTUALLY MOVE UP AT ALL. JUST THE PYRAMID GETS BIGGER AND MORE PEOPLE GET SCAMMED. ALSO THE MONEY THAT YOU MAY EARN, WILL ALWAYS FILTER UPWARDS. SO UNLESS YOU ARE ACTUALLY IN THE TOP 3 LEVELS (IE YOU WERE INVOLVED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SCAM) YOU WILL NEVER MAKE GOOD MONEY.

THIS IS WHY PYRAMID SCHEMES ARE ILLEGAL. THE WAY THEY NOW GET AROUND IT IS BY RUNNING UNDER SEPARATE COMPANIES WITHIN THEIR UMBRELLA.  THIS ALSO ALLOWS YOU TO BECOME EXPENDABLE AND NOT HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON, IF YOU GO AGAINST THEIR GRAIN.

There is a guy in Brighton who is constantly SCAMMING people. He has a company called Brighton Outsource (www.brightonoutsource.co.uk), formally called Powerhouse Worldwide.
UPDATE: He is now using the company name MyStyle Marketing (www.mystylemarketing.co.uk).
His admin, who calls up the potential 'new recruits' is call STEPHANIE GREEN.
He is part of a larger group of SCAMMING companies (i.e. PerDM, Cobra, Appco, DS-MAX), that like to SCAM the average hard working people like most of you guys reading this. The average, skint person, just trying to survive and do well for their families.
